In the midst of preparing for our annual Holiday Pops concerts, eight Musicians of the San Antonio Symphony (plus two family members) volunteered with the SA Food Bank to prepare and serve dinner for 428 people at Haven for Hope. We were honored to bring our onstage teamwork into the kitchen and interact with diners over pasta, salad, and schnitzel.

This is not the first time we've come together to support the San Antonio Food Bank and that's because we believe it is indispensable in our community. We know their efforts go far beyond individual meals like this one at Haven for Hope. The Seniors' Farmers Market, Nutrition Education Program, Fresh Produce Program, Kids Cafe, and the Mobile Pantry are just a few of the ways the SA Food Bank offers long term support and resources to those in need.
